Small Business Resources - This page lists some great on-line sites that will take you to a world of entrepreneurial training and information; such as Business Plan templates. We also have a lending library of small business books in our office.

Workshops and Events - Each year, we run a series of mini-workshops, focusing on some element of being in business.

The benefits and services provided by the SBRC can be helpful to all sorts of people, including:

• Businesses that are planning a move to Sitka and want an introduction to the local situation

The SBRC was developed as a Pilot Project, with financial support from a USDA Rural Development, Rural Business Enterprise Grant. We are also grateful for the support of the City and Borough of Sitka's Economic Diversification Funds.

The project began as a "business incubator without walls" that provided services to a group of "members". Through our feasibility study, we realized that our center was acting as a resource for all Sitkans who were interested in learning how to grow or develop a business. Hence the name was changed from the Sitka Business Incubator to the SBRC.
